The group of Italian companies BLUE BOX (SWEGON) was founded in 1986. Engaged in the development and production of a wide range of equipment for air conditioning and industrial refrigeration systems.
Until 2007, BLUE BOX air conditioning and refrigeration equipment was manufactured at four plants belonging to the group of companies of the same name. The factories are located in northern Italy, forty kilometers from Venice. In 2007, a new plant in the same region (Piove di Sacco (PD)) with an area of 22,000 m² (total territory area of 50,000 m²) was opened. BLUE BOX is currently one of the largest refrigeration companies in Europe.
Also, one of the distinctive features of the plant is that the conveyor principle of production (several lines) is used rather than the fixed location assembly. This became possible due to the fact that the plant had a fully automated system for receiving, processing and placement of orders.
BLUE BOX factory has a specialized laboratory, which has the right to run the technical characteristics tests of refrigeration equipment for EUROVENT the certification committee.
BLUE BOX is ISO 9001 and EUROVENT certified. The equipment is also certified in Ukraine. The plant tests each unit of equipment for compliance with all technical characteristics. At the end of each conveyor line, the unit is connected to the refrigeration system (specially designed for the factory needs) and then brought to operating parameters and tested for all characteristics.
BLUE BOX also includes a separate BLUE SERVICE division, which deals only with warranty and post-warranty issues.

REFRION was founded in 2002. Today it is developing rapidly and produces heat exchange equipment (dry cooling towers and remote air condensers). This was made possible by 20 years of experience in this field by the core team of employees.
The company's production facilities are located in the northeastern part of Italy, in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, which borders Austria and Slovenia. This area is famous for its traditions in the production of heat exchange equipment. Highly educated technical staff and skilled labor are concentrated here, as well as manufacturers of high-tech equipment - accordingly, it is quite easy to find suppliers of components.
Significant and continuous investment in R&D allows REFRION to constantly improve its equipment, increasing the efficiency of heat exchangers, reducing electricity consumption, which leads to lower operating costs. The visible result of these efforts, backed by the high professionalism of employees focused on solving any kind of technical problems, was the creation of a wide range of equipment offered, a choice of more than 22,000 models.
